Religious Education
As a Catholic school, teaching the Gospel Values underpins everything we do. We follow the Shrewsbury Dicoese agreed syllabus ‘The Way The Truth and The Life’. See separate RE tab.
Sex and Relationships Education
We teach using a scheme called 'In the Beginning'. This has been approved by Fr. Ned, Governors and parents.
If you would like to see the curriculum materials, please ask at the school office.
In Year 6, children will have a taught session with the school nurse, you will be asked for consent before this happens.
Sports and Physical Education
At Our Lady’s we provide an excellent sports curriculum, enabling children to be active and develop skills in a wide variety of activities. Children enjoy the PE curriculum and we have a full trophy cabinet to reflect their achievements in local and national competitions.
Music
The school purchases Wider Music Opportunities from Trafford Music Service. This currently includes trumpet, violin, French horn and fife.
This also includes whole class music tuition opportunities. These vary on an annual basis.
All classes benefit from music/singing lessons.
